The Ohio Development Services Agency Announces The Ohio Preservation Tax Credit Awards In Cleveland, Ohio
The Ohio Development Services Agency has announced the Round 9 Tax Credit Awards in a recent press release and at a press conference held in downtown Cleveland Thursday December 20, at the East Ohio Gas Building on East 9th Street.
Christiane Schmenk, Director of the Ohio Development Services Agency, delivered the announcement with Ohio State Senator Larry Obhof and Judith L. Kitchen of the Ohio Historic Preservation Office in a crowd attended by local developers and press.
Eligible applicants include Owners and long-term lessees of historically designated buildings.
The program requires that that plans are reviewed by the Ohio Historic Preservation Office to validate compliance with with the U.S Secretary of the Interior’s Standards of Rehabilitation.
The Chesler Group has been awarded $1.4 million to restore the Carlisle Block Building of Chillicothe, Ohio among 23 projects throughout the state.
